I'M NOT HER

Rita Award Finalist- 2012- I'm Not Her, published by Sourcebooks.

Bravo to the author, Janet Gurtler for writing a novel with perfectly flawed characters and a realistic plot that effortless flowed. I have nothing bad to say about this book.

The characters were developed perfectly with the flaws we all find in ourselves and others. The family dynamic was really nice, especially the relationship between the sisters. I completely related.

I loved how the end was not what the characters were planning for themselves. The paths of self discovery the characters under went to find what really matters in their lives was so well done. Life is not perfect, and things rarely turn out the way we plan, I greatly appreciate how this reality was reflected in this book.
